A mysterious machine signed by Nintendo appears in an official document from the UK trade authorities. All eyes are on the Switch Pro, a console gamers have been waiting for for a long time.
So what is this mysterious censored terminal in the document from the Competition Market Authority (CMA), the UK’s trade regulator? An unknown machine signed by Nintendo is mentioned at the beginning of a sentence.
Following its investigation into Microsoft’s acquisition of Activision-Blizzard, the CMA published documents on market shares and how they are calculated. Nothing too transcendent at first glance, but one thing stood out on the WCCFTech site in the attachments.
The Switch Pro quoted in a sentence?
It is in a footnote in the part dedicated to cloud gaming that the mysterious terminal makes its appearance. A passing mention that could have gone completely unnoticed:
“Nintendo Switch Online has been excluded from our analysis because its cloud gaming service is very limited. Nintendo’s cloud gaming service is only available on Nintendo Switch and the [censuré] “.
What is this machine censored by the CMA? No answer yet, only guesses. The most optimistic might see a mention of Switch Pro, or even a new console from Nintendo. The Switch is indeed slowly reaching the end of its lifespan and there is plenty of speculation about the next console.

More believably, it could be the Switch OLED, and this Crossing out the entry would therefore be an error on the part of the CMA, which would therefore not arouse the curiosity of the fans for much. Anyway, this mention “censored” is very strange.
Since 2020, many rumors have been evoking the arrival of a Switch Pro, with a more powerful processor capable of displaying 4K docked or even support for DLSS. Rumors with no continuation at the moment, but this document will certainly put a piece in the machine.
