Harmony: the fall of reverie puts us in the shoes of Polly, a young psychic searching for her missing mother in the Mediterranean town of Alma. Breaking away from the futuristic universe that surrounds her, our psychic is able to leave behind her corporeal shell to join Rêverie, an astral plane that protects the Aspirations. Named Glory, Bliss, Power, Chaos, Bond, and Truth, these deities embody six ideals that can inspire and guide humanity. Caught in their eternal battle for control of conscience, Polly assumes the role of Harmony, the mediating goddess. To carry out his investigation, he will have to reconcile the two worlds, and any dialogue will likely determine the course of the plot. At least that’s what we were promised.
Five Star Soundtrack
On the music we find the excellent Lena Raine, who had already composed Celeste’s complex melodies. That is perhaps most deserving of our attention, for she is gifted at transcribing narrative themes with subtle musicological constructs. We can listen to Harmony: the fall of reverie on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S from June 2023 (the exact date is still unknown to us).
