Don’t forget that last December, the VGC site revealed a collaboration between LEGO and publisher 2K Games for several sports-themed games. Leaked toys allowed us to learn about the existence of a football game, in preparation at Sumo Digital or at the Visual Concepts studio (NBA 2K, WWE 2K). But it seems other projects are much further along as other leaks this weekend revealed the existence of the LEGO 2K Drive game. Images posted to Reddit by a user claiming to have played the beta show that it will be a Mario Kart style car game, with a multiplayer approach.

The insider involved, who is undoubtedly a journalist hidden behind a pseudonym that has not respected embargoes, reveals that this LEGO 2K Drive will allow us to drive vehicles that can transform according to the surface on which the vehicle crosses. Items along the way à la Mario Kart make it possible to attack and defend opponents, while the game promises different universes. We also learn in this huge leak that it is the Visual Concepts studio that is behind the project and that the game will be released quite soon this year. Faced with this leak, the LEGO manufacturer has decided to respond by posting a video confirming the existence of this LEGO 2K Drive by setting an appointment for the unveiling of this racing game for the whole family on March 23. .
We can’t say anything 😉 but tune in to March 23 pic.twitter.com/i0NUiF3bqG
