After Nina Williams, Kazuya Mishima and Jin Kazama, it’s Paul Phoenix’s turn to end the week with his first gameplay video dedicated entirely to him for his return in Tekken 8. We’ve known for a while now, the character has changed a lot in terms of appearance since the previous games. Older, also more massive and having largely given up the gel in his hair, Paul finally accepts the years that have passed and the time spent in bars, his motorcycle outside. On the gameplay side, Mr Phoenix doesn’t seem to have changed much and seems to have even thrown punches, even more devastatingly. In fact, by focusing all his energy in his right arm, he can even puff up his jacket to reveal his striking muscles and the power of his incomparable punch. To help him in his show of power, it’s Law who faces it all.
The Tekken 8 release date has still not been communicated, but we know the game will arrive on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series.
