Five years of development. Brilliant trailers. A fascinating artistic direction. Bold promises. All by a studio unknown to the battalion, Mundfish, formerly based in Russia. If all the ingredients of a good Arlesian way of The Day Before were assembled, Atomic Heart is quite tangible after all. Willingly defined by the press and players as a Soviet BioShock, given its Stalinist alternate history and its familiar gameplay, this Communist land adventure is both much more and much less than that.
