The Galaxy S23 registers twice as many pre-orders as for the Galaxy S22, the box is total

We already know that the Galaxy S23 is a monumental success, but Samsung added another layer to that. In a blog post announcing global availability of the smartphone from resellers, the manufacturer is taking the opportunity to reveal that its new range has recorded double pre-orders compared to the Galaxy S22.

Galaxy S23

Like every year, Samsung packs it all with its new Galaxy S range. In just a few days, the Galaxy S23 has already set a new record by selling 1.09 million units in South Korea, an increase of 7% over the previous year. But the manufacturer’s country of origin is already a conquered territory for the latter. What about France then?

Here again, it’s a full box for Samsung. Certainly influenced by the already substantial success of the Galaxy S22, users are visibly enticed by the formula of its flagships. These literally threw themselves at the smartphone when pre-orders opened. According to the company’s internal estimates, pre-orders were twice as high for the Galaxy S23 than for the Galaxy S22 in France.

The Galaxy S23 sets a new sales record in France

It is not surprising that it is still the most efficient model praised by users. If Samsung does not disclose the exact figures for France, the latter will still escape what the Galaxy S23 Ultra stands for 60% of pre-orders registered worldwide. In addition, the new exclusive colors have also been on the rise since then 35% of users chose the latter (26% for the Galaxy S23+). However, these numbers are expected to balance with in-store sales.
