John Wick Chapter 4, which is expected to hit theaters in France on March 22, is clearly one of the biggest action films of this year’s start. With a 5-star cast consisting of big names in martial arts (Donnie Yen, Scott Adkins, Hiroyuki Sanada), this episode also has the gift of being largely set in Paris. We remember that the shooting between October and November 2021 was mainly followed on Parisian social networks. Exactly, Lionsgate has just released three clips from the film, two of which are set in the French capital. In particular, we see Keanu Reeves, Lawrence Fishburne, and Ian McShane at the subway Porte des Lilas, in a scene where Jonathan Wick’s character benefits from a new wardrobe, specifically a costar in kevlar. The second sequence takes place on the Trocadero, right in front of an Eiffel Tower whose top is hidden by a thick cloud. It’s gray and John Wick challenges the Marquis de Gramont (Bill Skarsgård) to a fair duel, in which they must determine the place, time, weapons and conditions of this confrontation. That leaves a third “clip” that this time takes place in Killa’s nightclub, the character played by Scott Adkins, unrecognizable with the prosthetics put on him. We also see Mr Noboody, played by Shamier Anderson, whose role and objectives in the film are still quite vague. One thing’s for sure, it’s that he’ll never let go of his dog.
